Community First National Bank of West Plains opened as a national bank on November 13, 1997 with 45+ local investors. The bank has expanded to three locations and now serves the communities of West Plains, MO in Howell County and Mountain Grove, MO in Wright County.

In December, 2009, we changed our bank charter from a national bank to a state bank. This resulted in changing our name to Community First Banking Company. There was no change in ownership, management or employees.
